Description
Mandevilla amabilis, also commonly known as Dipladenia amabilis, is a tropical climbing plant belonging to the Apocynaceae family. This species is known for its showy flowers and its ability to climb and entangle itself in structures.
Amabilis mandevilla is the original plant from which the other varieties of dipladenias originate. This variety has larger leaves and is more of a climber. It is also the only variety of dipladenia that does not have bushy forms. Its only color is pink, although nowadays it has hybridizations for red and white mixtures.
